Learning can be fun especially when you are creating things. Children explore & experiment through cooking & crafts. Before they know it they have learned measurements, textures, letters & numbers. It teaches them not to be afraid to try things even if it doesn't come out perfect because in life few things actually are. They often are surprised at their own capabilities which in turn makes them more confident little people. Each week we teach the children a new letter of the alphabet using these techniques.
